Shaadi Shenanigans didn't start with a business plan. It started with one wedding, a genuinely unreasonable number of marigolds, and a founder who got tired of being told that “elegant” and “boring” were the same word. That first wedding wasn't the biggest budget or the biggest hotel. It was just the first time we said out loud: why does “tasteful” have to mean “safe”?
Turns out couples had been asking themselves the same question. They just hadn't found anyone willing to say yes to both halves of it. Since then we've planned mythology-themed sangeets, carnival-themed mehendi nights, five-star destination weekends, and a fair number of Mayras with more marigolds than the venue's own gardener knew what to do with. We're still the same studio that started with one wedding and too many flowers. We've just gotten much better at the logistics.
